The Vines of Saint Emilion (2019)
The artist moved over a year ago to Chateau Teyssier next to Saint Emilion. Days spent walking through the vines the artist began to fall in love with the ancient feel of the vines , their uniqueness and the sheer beauty of the mercurial shapes. At the present time she is immersed in drawing the vines and casting them. Ideas abound to transform some of the burnt vines to work with plaster into modern abstract shapes.
